Size Guide
Wristband widths and lengths, lanyard dimensions and how to choose the right size for adults and children.
Sizes vary a little by product and decoration method, so treat this as a starting point — if your event needs an exact fit, ask us for a sample before you commit to a full run.

Widths
1/4 inch (6 mm) — subtle, best for short messages. Note that debossing and color filling on quarter-inch bands is shallower and less visible than on half-inch.
1/2 inch (12 mm) — the standard width and the best all-round choice for logos and longer text.
5/8 inch (16 mm) — a step up from half-inch for a little more artwork room while staying slim.
3/4 inch (19 mm) — more room for artwork and multi-line messages.
1 inch (25 mm) — maximum print area, used for detailed artwork.
Lengths
Toddler (6.2 inch) — roughly 160 mm, for children.
Youth (7 inch) — roughly 180 mm, for children up to about 12.
Medium (7.5 inch) — roughly 191 mm.
Adult / standard (8 inch) — roughly 202 mm; this suits the large majority of adults and is what we supply unless you tell us otherwise.
Large (8.2 inch) — roughly 210 mm and up, for larger wrists.
If you are ordering for a mixed audience, adult length is the safe default. For school and youth events, splitting the order between youth and adult lengths usually works better than one size.
Lanyards
Standard length: about 36 inches (90 cm) as a full loop — sits at mid-chest on most adults.
Common widths: 3/8 inch, 5/8 inch (the most common) and 1 inch. Wider lanyards carry more artwork and take heavier badge holders.
Minimum order for lanyards is 50 pieces.
How to measure
Wrap a strip of paper around the wrist where the band will sit, mark where it overlaps, then measure the strip flat against a ruler. Add roughly 20 mm for comfort — a band should sit loosely enough to move, not grip.
